When to Use This Tool

Remove unwanted pages from a PDF document. Everything runs locally in your browser — no file uploads, no server processing.

Deleting pages is faster than splitting when you want to remove specific pages and keep everything else. Common uses include removing blank pages that appear when scanning double-sided documents, deleting outdated sections from a report before sharing, or stripping pages containing sensitive information.

Select the pages you want to remove, and the tool creates a new PDF without them. The remaining pages are renumbered automatically, and all content quality is preserved. This is particularly useful for cleaning up scanned documents where blank backsides create extra pages.

Use cases range from removing accidentally scanned blank sheets, deleting draft watermarked pages from a final document, trimming a large PDF to share only the relevant section, and preparing documents for filing by removing cover sheets or separator pages.

Things to Know

Pages with digital signatures should not be removed — doing so may invalidate the entire document's signature. Bookmarks pointing to deleted pages will break. The tool creates a new file rather than modifying the original, so you can always go back.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see which pages I'm deleting?

Yes. The tool shows a page overview so you can identify and select exactly which pages to remove.

Can I undo page deletion?

Deletion is applied to the output file only. Your original file is never modified, so you can always start over.

What happens to the remaining pages?

The remaining pages are preserved exactly as-is, with the same quality, formatting, and content. Page numbering adjusts automatically.

Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?

You need to unlock the PDF first using our Unlock PDF tool, then delete the pages you don't need.

Is the original file modified?

No. The tool creates a new PDF without the selected pages. Your original file remains unchanged. You can delete it manually if the new version replaces it.

What if I accidentally delete the wrong page?

Re-run the tool on the original file with the correct page selection. The original is never modified, so you always have a backup.
