All PDF Tools
16 free tools to organize, optimize, convert, edit, sign, and protect your PDFs. All processing happens in your browser — your files never leave your device.
PDF (Portable Document Format) is the standard for sharing documents across devices and operating systems. Whether you are submitting a contract, assembling a report, or preparing files for print, you need tools that can manipulate PDFs quickly and reliably.
This page lists every PDF tool available on our site. Each tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to any server. No account is needed, no watermarks are added, and there are no file size restrictions for most operations.
Organize PDF
Merge, split, rotate, delete, and reorder pages
The Organize tools handle the structure of your PDF — combining multiple files, extracting specific pages, rotating sideways scans, removing unwanted pages, and rearranging page order.
Merge PDF is the most-used tool. It combines separate PDF files into a single document — useful for assembling contracts from multiple signatories, combining scanned pages, or consolidating monthly reports. Page order is preserved from the original files, and you can reorder before merging.
Split PDF does the opposite: it extracts pages or divides a document into smaller files. Extract a single chapter from a long report, separate signed pages from a contract, or pull specific pages for forwarding.

Compress, crop, and convert your PDFs
The Optimize tools reduce file size and change formats. Compress PDF downsamples images, subsets embedded fonts, and removes redundant data to shrink files for email attachments (which often have a 25MB limit) or web uploads. Quality settings let you balance file size against visual fidelity.
PDF to JPG converts each page into an image — useful for creating thumbnails, sharing individual pages as images, or preparing pages for OCR processing. Image to PDF goes the other direction, combining JPG, PNG, or WebP images into a single PDF document.

Add text, images, signatures, watermarks, and page numbers
The Edit tools modify content within your PDF. Edit PDF lets you add text, images, and shapes directly onto pages. Sign PDF adds a drawn or typed signature to any document. Watermark places text or images across all pages for branding or confidentiality marking. Page Numbers adds formatted numbering — essential for legal documents, academic papers, and contracts.

Password-protect or unlock your PDFs
Protect PDF encrypts your document with a password, preventing unauthorized access. Unlock PDF removes password protection from files you have the credentials for — useful when you no longer need the encryption but want to share the file more easily.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, and no data is transmitted to any server.
Is there a file size limit?
Most tools handle files up to 100MB. Very large documents (500+ pages) may take longer to process depending on your device's memory. For best performance, work with files under 50MB.
Do I need to create an account?
No account or signup is required. Open any tool and start using it immediately.
Will watermarks be added to my PDFs?
No. Output files are clean and identical to what you would produce with desktop software. The only watermark is one you choose to add using the Watermark tool.
What happens to my files after processing?
Nothing is stored. Since processing happens in your browser, files exist only in your device's memory during the operation. Close the tab and they are gone.
